This week's Howe Intern is Jesse Burnett. He is a senior at Howe High School and an intern for Ms. Marilyn Ray, Howe Custodian. Jesse has an interest in automotive repair and would like to attend Kiamichi Technology Center after graduation with an emphasis in Automotive Service Technology.


This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Miguel Ramirez. He is a senior at Howe High School and an intern for Mrs. Tammy Parks, Director of Instructional Technology/Federal Programs. Miguel enjoys his internship and shows an interest in production design. After graduation, Miguel would like to go to college and major in Film Production.


This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Jaxson Sears, a senior at Howe High School. Jaxson is an intern for Mr. Reece Mitchell, Howe's Business and Information Technology Instructor. Jaxson is very competent in helping Mr. Mitchell with technology needs. Jaxson is presently attending Kiamichi Technology Center in the area of Computer/Networking program. He plans to continue to attend KTC after graduation and pursue a career in Computers/Information Technology.


This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Kennedy Dean. She is a Junior at Howe High School and an intern for Mrs. Lindsay Rana, 1st Grade Teacher. After graduation, Kennedy plans to attend Oklahoma State University, majoring in nursing. She plans to become a Registered Nurse.


This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Dulce Ramirez. She is a senior at Howe High School and an intern for the high school office secretary, Ms. Dora Jimenez. Dulce is presently taking courses at CASC as a concurrent student. She plans to continue her education at CASC after graduation with a major in Allied Health. After obtaining her associate's degree, she plans to further her education to pursue a career in either nursing or as a dental hygienist.


Congratulations to the Howe Lions High School and Junior High SAR teams! They competed in the first-ever SAR State Tournament, and both teams took first place in their divisions. These students have worked incredibly hard all season, and their efforts truly showed today. Along with winning the State Championship in both divisions, here is a list of individual awards from the event:
Junior High Division
Norah Cooper: 5th place
Diesel Robertson: 2nd place
Aiden Gunnels: 1st place and top overall JH male marksman
High School Division
Teagan Dodd: 6th place
Kimber Bryan: 5th place
Lexi Burnett: 3rd place and top HS female marksman
Phoenix Duncan: 1st place, top HS male, and overall top marksman for the meet
Once again, congratulations to both teams! The next stop is Nationals in Festus, Missouri, on October 26, 2024.

Hey everyone! Red Ribbon Week is next week October 28-Nov 1st! Here are the dress-up days so you can prepare. These dress-up days are for HIGH SCHOOL ONLY.
There will be prizes for the best outfit per day and costume contests for Halloween!!! Please remember all outfits/costumes MUST ADHERE to the dress code. Masks or any costume piece that covers your face is not allowed.
