This week's lunch menu.

Join us in congratulating yet another Lion standout! Through hard work and dedication, Reanna Robertson's skills have grown as she hones her craft. Today, she signed her letter of intent to be a scholarship athlete at Connors State College with the archery program. With great coaching and teammates, she has elevated to the level of collegiate athlete. She is soon to be a cowgirl, but she will always be a Lion. Once again, Howe High School students know what it takes to reach the highest levels of their endeavors. #howehighschool #howelions #connorsstatecollege #connorsstatecollegecollegiatearcheryteam

Remember- basketball regionals begin tonight! Due to widespread school closures and hazardous road conditions, OSSAA moved regionals back by one night. The game sites (Wilburton for us) and times will remain the same, but games are now held on Friday, Saturday, and Monday instead of the original days of Thursday, Friday, and Monday. It's game day! Roar!!! #howelions #howehighschool
Update – Howe Will Have School Tomorrow!
Attention parents and students! After three days of winter weather closures/virtual learning, we are excited to announce that school will be in session tomorrow, Friday. February 21. Please plan for a regular school day, and make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold temperatures. The wintry weather has cleared, the hallways are waiting, and your teachers are ready (with just a little extra coffee). We’ll see you bright and early—no snooze buttons required!
We appreciate your patience and understanding during the closures, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to class!
Stay safe, and we’ll see you in the morning!
Congratulations to one of our shop students Tyler Sumpter. Tyler placed 3rd in his division at the Leflore County FFA Ag Mechanics Contest with his Wood Stove. Tyler will receive $400 in prize money next Friday (Feb 28th) at the County Premium Sale.

Due to extremely slick and hazardous road conditions in the Howe school district and the extended portions of the county, along with single-digit temperatures expected in the morning and the snow/ice-covered campus grounds, Howe Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 20.
Virtual learning will be in effect. Students, please check your Google Classroom and SeeSaw learning platforms, school email, and classroom groups for assignments and instructions from your teachers.
Please stay safe and warm. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Attention Basketball Fans: The Class 2A-A-B Basketball Regional Tournaments scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday have been pushed back to Friday, Saturday, Monday. Host sites and game times will remain the same. #HPSLions
Petting Zoo day was an absolute success. We celebrated the first day of National FFA Week by hosting a fun day of farm animals for our Daycare through 1st grade programs. We also made a few surprised visits to the high school as well. We had many different species of livestock that were brought by our 4-H and FFA students.
A big thank you to our staff, Howe Public Schools, and our wonderful 4-H and FFA members who were able to make this possible.

Big Announcement! Unfortunately due to weather school has been moved to virtual days. But Blue & Gold/DJ’s fundraiser money is still planned to be due Feb 21st (Friday). Please contact Mr. Lott or a FFA member. This is your last chance.

Due to the Winter Weather Advisory, Howe Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 18-19, 2025. During this time, we will transition to virtual learning for all students. For some grade levels, packets may also be sent home as an option for completing assignments offline. Please check communication from your child’s teacher for additional clarification on virtual work.
Stay safe and warm, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
