Congratulations to FIRST Lego League Team 6604 Losers with Lego! They were 1 of 34 teams competing in the State Championship this weekend. They received 3rd place overall in Core Values! This trophy represents many hours of robot and project design, programming, and teamwork!





This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Jentry Boehme. He is a senior at Howe High School and interning for Owner-Andrew Kennell at the Runestone Fitness and Tanning in Heavener, OK. Jentry has an interest in owning his own business. His future plans include joining the military and becoming a dog handler. Also, he would like to become a project manager and own his own company.


We would like to give a big "Thank You" to the Heavener Lions Club for donating hoodies to our students. We truly appreciate your generosity.

3rd and 4th Red/Wbite game has been moved from Friday to Thursday morning.

As a district (K - 12th grades), we will be starting NWEA MAPS assessments today and they will last most of the week. It is very important that your students be at school and be on time. If they are absent, the tests will have to be made up. We appreciate your help with getting this testing completed in a timely manner.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! to Howe Junior High Lady Lion Lexi Burnett. Lexi is now the National Junior High Girls Student Air Rifle Champion. Students from across the Nation competed in the National S.A.R. event in Missouri. Lexi competes on the Howe Lions Student Air Rifle Junior High team and the Howe Lions Junior High Archery team. Howe started the program this year and is one of only 8 schools in Oklahoma that have started the SAR program. Some of the states that Oklahoma has joined with in the SAR program include Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, and Kentucky.
