Just a reminder the Parent/Teacher conferences are this Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30. Progress reports will be going out this Wednesday. There is no school on Friday, November 17th and we are out of school next week November 20th - 24th for Thanksgiving break. School will resume on November 27th.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of a member of our High School faculty, Mr. Brett Casey. He has accepted a position at Camping World of Poteau to be their New Finance Director and will be leaving us today 11/10/23.
Throughout his time at Howe High School, Mr. Casey has been a source of unwavering commitment to his students. His impact on the Vocational Business Program and the lives of his students is immeasurable, and we are truly grateful for the positive influence he has had on our school community.
While we are sad to see Mr. Casey go, we celebrate the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for him. We extend our heartfelt thanks for his contributions to Howe Public Schools, and we wish him nothing but success and fulfillment in his new endeavors.
Mr. Casey shared, “It has been an honor to work here at Howe Public Schools for the past 3.5 years. I appreciate the professionalism I have been shown, and the students and staff have been wonderful to work with. Thank you for the opportunity, and I will miss each and every one of you.”

Members of National Honor Society and Coach Sockey's class visited the US Marshals Museum and Judge Parker's Courthouse yesterday. The students had a great experience and learned a lot of new things!
This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Lauchlan Duncan. He is a senior at Howe High School and interns for Coach Reece Mitchell. After high school graduation, Lauchlan plans to enlist in the Air Force. In his spare time, he likes to draw and use his artistic talents.
