🌟 Celebrating Native American Heritage Month 🌟 Today, several of our 5th-12th grade JOM students had an incredible opportunity to visit the Choctaw Cultural Center near Durant! Highlights of the Day: • A guided tour of the museum, where students explored the rich history and traditions of the Choctaw Nation. • Hands-on participation in social dance demonstrations, bringing culture to life through movement and music. • A delicious lunch at the center’s café, enjoying flavors inspired by Choctaw heritage. This trip was a meaningful way to celebrate and honor Native American Heritage Month. We’re so proud of our students for engaging in this educational and cultural experience! 📸 Check out more photos from our day on the Howe Public Schools' Facebook page. #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth #ChoctawCulturalCenter #JOM #LearningThroughExperience
