Earlier today, our school administration received a hotline tip regarding a potential threat to campus safety. Working quickly, we partnered with local law enforcement to conduct a thorough investigation. The student involved has been detained , and all concerns have been fully addressed. At this time, there is no known risk to the safety of our students, staff, or school.
We want to thank our law enforcement partners for their swift response and commitment to our students' well-being. The safety of our school community remains our highest priority, and we will continue to take every measure to ensure a secure learning environment.
Thank you for your trust and support. Please feel free to reach out to the school office with any questions or concerns.

This week's Howe Intern of the Week goes to Brittney Lear pictured on the left. She is a senior at Howe High School and an intern for Mrs. Leigh Cooper, High School Science Teacher. Brittney enjoys her internship with Mrs. Cooper. She spends most of her time helping set up labs for the science classes, grading papers, and helping students with assignments. Brittney has not made a definite decision about a career after high school but hopes the internship has given her some job skills needed for any career she pursues.

Each team member brought their favorite emotion to life, from Joy and Sadness to Anger and Disgust. It was a fun and meaningful way to remind our students about the importance of healthy choices and expressing their feelings. Thank you to our dedicated team for making this week memorable and encouraging our students to stay drug-free!
