Mrs. Yakel's Senior English class has worked hard on a True Crime unit where students selected an unsolved crime of their choice. Each student had the opportunity to play detective and dig into theories pertaining to their selected crime. After conducting extensive research, students wrote a research paper presenting information about the crime. Finally, they constructed a mini crime scene to present to their classmates that depicts the crime's most important aspects. This hands-on project combined critical thinking, research skills, and creativity. Great work, seniors. #PAWSitiveThings #SeniorEnglish #HandsOnLearning

Mrs. Bandy’s 7th Grade Science class is digging into Natural Resources and Human Impact!

Today, students put their skills to the test with a hands-on lab where they had to carefully extract “resources” by mining chocolate chip cookies. They quickly discovered that mining isn’t as easy as it looks — and that protecting the environment while gathering resources takes planning, patience, and responsibility!

Learning + chocolate = a sweet day in science!
