Celebrate the West 2020 Art Competition
This regional art competition challenges high school students to create works inspired by their state.
WGA’s visual arts challenge, sponsored by the Western Governors’ Foundation, is open to high school students in the 19 Western states and three U.S.-flag islands served by the nonpartisan policy association.
Entrants from WGA member states will create original two-dimensional artwork inspired by their state or informed by living in the West. Students may draw ideas from a variety of sources, including state history, landmarks, natural resources, National Parks and Monuments, people, communities and culture.

Happy Scholarship Thursday everyone!
This week's scholarship is for spouses or dependents of fallen or disabled servicemen and women in the US. Beneficiaries of the unmet need scholarship will receive scholarships awards that are up to $5,000 per academic year. Students must be in high school and concurrently enrolled in college classes, or undergraduate students enrolled in community college, college, or university; certificate/licensure/technical program.

Dating violence in teens is becoming a larger and larger problem as the time goes on. Educated girls and boys about what to do if they are being abused and the best ways to prevent it from happening at all are through fun and energetic campaigns that give them real resources.
