Reminder: While Oklahoma's Promise is offered to those who are in the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades, it is CRUCIAL that 10th grade parents apply (if they have not already) before the June 30th deadline! Although one of the requirements is that the household income be $55,000 or less, the application process is FREE. 10th grade parents should consider applying for this opportunity as it could mean free tuition if they qualify if their child plans to attend a public college or university in the state of Oklahoma. On Tuesday, June 25th, Howe High School will offer an Oklahoma’s Promise Night from 6:00-8:00 pm. This is available to any 10th grade PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS who need help in the application process. Oklahoma's Promise covers college tuition for students who qualify; to qualify in the application process, the household income cannot exceed $55,000. Parents/legal guardians should bring a copy of their 2018 tax documents if applicable. If you have already applied, there is no need to attend this meeting as it is strictly regarding applying. If you are unsure of the specifics of your application, but have applied, you are encouraged to call 1-405-225-9152 and ask about the status of your application. #HPSLions
