Congratulations to the Howe Lions Archery teams. The High School finished 3rd in the Grand State Archery Meet and secured a National Qualifier position. The Junior High finished with a 1st place finish in the Tier 2 State Meet. Aiden Gunnels fished 1st in the 8th grade boys division and 2nd in the Middle school division. Bentley Thompson finished 4th in the Middle School division and 2nd in the 7th grade boys division. Norah Cooper finished 2nd in Junior High girls division and 1st in the 7th grade girls division. Congratulations to all of the Lions Archery and Rifle team members on a really Great season!

The 1959 Lady Lions etched their names in the record books, battling their way to the Class B State Championship with heart, hustle, and undeniable talent. Tournament Journey: ➡️ Quarterfinals: Defeated Pharoah 59-48 ➡️ Semifinals: Edged out Tushka 38-36 ➡️ Championship Game: Took down Gate 48-35 to claim the STATE TITLE! The team carried their momentum into the 1960 State Tournament, where they defeated Ralton 56-52 in the quarterfinals before falling to Port 47-37 in the semifinals.
