BPA students had an exciting and educational day at OneOK Field, where they kicked off their College and Career Awareness Day with the ‘Professionals in Career panel’. The day was topped off with a thrilling Tulsa Drillers baseball game, where the students cheered enthusiastically and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Between innings, they had a blast playing games like cornhole and Jenga, making the day not just informative but also incredibly fun and memorable!

Please be advised that a life flight helicopter will be landing on the Howe Public Schools campus shortly. This is in response to a medical situation that is currently under control. The health and safety of all our students and staff remain our top priority.
We ask that everyone remain calm and allow emergency personnel to do their work. There is no immediate threat to our school, and we will continue to keep parents and the community updated as needed.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Mrs. Parks’ MS/HS Computer Science students just completed an exciting project designing robot faces using JavaScript in Code.org’s Computer Science Discoveries curriculum! After defining their robot face ideas, they coded and tested their designs in Game Lab, using the problem-solving process to refine their work. Congratulations to Justus Smith, voted Most Creative Robot Face, and Levi Smith for Most Unique Use of Randomness, and Best Use of the "Space" Theme. Their creativity and coding skills really shined through in this interactive project! @TeachCode #CompSci

Earlier today, our school administration was made aware of a threatening communication by a student that occurred last week. This threat had no specific details, though out of an abundance of caution, we immediately took action, and our School Resource Officer, in collaboration with the Leflore County Sheriff's Office, is currently investigating the situation. The LCSO is providing additional support on campus at this time.
The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities, and we will continue to work closely with law enforcement to ensure a secure learning environment. As always, we appreciate your trust and support.
Thank you for your attention and understanding.
