More Highlights From Dr. Suess Week!
Our Elem Principal, Mrs. Donna Morris stepped into the shoes of a guest reader, bringing Dr. Seuss' whimsical tales to life for several of our elementary classrooms this week.
Today was Wacky Wednesday: Check out all the great hats and crazy hair . . . our students' creativity knew no bounds today!
Thanks to all who have joined in on the fun, imagination, and Seuss-tastic adventures!
Tomorrow's theme is "Leap Into Reading!" Wear great like a frog, or maybe the Grinch!

Mrs. Necessary's Kindergarten class loves reading! NHS students conjured up a special cauldron of Oobleck just for them!

This week's At A Glance

NHS kicked off our Read Across America week celebrations with Mrs. Amber Dalton's class on Monday! We read One Fish Two Fish and did some fun goldfish counting activities!

Today started our Spring NWEA MAP testing in grades 4th - 11th. It is very important for students to be at school if at all possible during these tests. If a student misses a test, it has to be made up during a separate testing session other than the one with their classmates. We appreciate your support in helping us to get these tests completed. We understand that some absences can't be helped and we will work on our end to make sure that all students complete their testing in a timely manner.

Several of our HS National Honor Society members are getting ready for some messy, educational fun during "Read Across America" Week with Oobleck! This non-Newtonian fluid inspired by Dr. Seuss's classic book "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" is a fantastic way to explore the wonders of science while sparking creativity and imagination. Stay tuned for more #ReadAcrossAmerica events this week! #OobleckFun! Pictured are: Graiclyn Dorsey, Karsyn Nye, Emily Ramirez, Emma McClain, Micah Davidson, and NHS Sponsor, Mrs. Carol Ann Ford.

We have a few extra 2024 playoff short sleeve t-shirts $18 each: Adult medium qty 3; adult 2X qty 1 - please contact Mrs. Parks at 918.721.3326.

Huge shout out to our 4th grade and Ms.. Sanford's 1st Grade class for bringing the most canned goods for Love Fostering Hope. 4th Grade had an ice cream sundae party to celebrate and Ms. Sanford' class had pizza.
